Philippians 4:13-I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Paul wasn’t talking about flying or lifting up trains–but he is talking about the FACT, the absolute truth, that we can live the Christian life even in the midst of an assault on every side. The world says you can’t live the Christian life, you can’t be moral, you can’t be loving because you’re really a hypocrite and on and on and on. But whenever they say “you can’t”remember that God says “you CAN do all things through me.” The key is to live “through Christ” and I think that means we’ve got to actively, seriously and consistently seek God in prayer and through His word. We’ve got to directly ask Him to strengthen us in our inner being, in a way only He can, to be able to stand strong. Then we’ve got to remember this verse, over and over–and answer our enemies
“you can’t” with “I can, through Him.” Hang in there friends, I’ve read the back of the book and guess what–we win!
