Favorite Bible Verses:
Lamentations 3, 1 Corinthians 1, 2 Corinthians 5, Philippians 1:15-21
15 It is true that some preach Christ out of envy and rivalry, but others out of goodwill. 16 The latter do so out of love, knowing that I am put here for the defense of the gospel. 17 The former preach Christ out of selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing that they can stir up trouble for me while I am in chains. 18 But what does it matter? The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice. Yes, and I will continue to rejoice, 19 for I know that through your prayers and God’s provision of the Spirit of Jesus Christ what has happened to me will turn out for my deliverance. 20 I eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death. 21 For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.

How long I've been attending CCFS and my role here:
My husband David and I have attended CCFS since May 2022. I am a pastoral Admin assistant and help with a broad array of things such as volunteering, weekend ministries setup/teardown, worship, supporting meetings and events, managing stock, to name a few.

How I came to know the Lord:
I believe I was around 12 or 13. I was raised in a Christian home but knew as I got older that I couldn't be saved because my family were Christians, it had to be a relationship I chose to pursue personally. We would listen to the radio a lot around the house and sometimes sermons or programs. During one of these programs, they gave the opportunity to pray and begin a relationship with Christ so I quietly prayed alone to that radio program. I've been growing and pursuing that one day at a time since, some days better than others, looking forward to the day where we are no longer "recovering sinners" but brand spanking new creations!
