Children's Ministry Director

How long I've been attending CCFS and my role here:
My family and I have attended Calvary 14:6 since April of 2019. I am the Children’s Ministry Director, which includes recruiting and scheduling all volunteers, preparing curriculum for teachers, and general oversight of the ministry for Nursery through 6th grade children. My favorite part of serving in the Children's Ministry is watching kids as young as 2 or 3 years old singing worship songs and answering questions about Bible lessons- it is the greatest blessing!

How I came to know the Lord:
I was raised in the Episcopalian church but rebelled as a teenager and young adult. The Lord got my attention in a very real way when I was 23 years old and I have been following Him ever since.
Favorite Bible Verses:
Romans 15:13: Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Hope is so important because life can get us down. When we focus on our hope – the hope of heaven and eternity with Jesus – we can press forward in spite of everything going on in the world.

Favorite worship songs:
Anything by Hillsong… current favorite is King of Kings… great worship music leads me into the presence of Jesus!

Favorite quotes from Pastor Pat's Sermons:
The Key from Pastor Pat’s 12/15/19 message: “When you use your gifts to build up the body, it is a sign to the world that we are the people of God because we love and invest in each other’s highest and best interests.”

Serving is such an amazing blessing and essential for believers to grow!
